Honolulu is showing very pronounced heating in the winter months. Even with the winter heating, summer and early fall high temperatures appear to be dropping.
Honolulu shows the most extreme heating in January. Both low and high temperatures are rising at about 1'F per decade. The heating appears to be occurring in jumps, and the rate for each jump appears to be accelerating.
In October, Honolulu appears to be cooling. October is the only month where both low and high temperatures appear to be dropping. The dropping trend for the low temperatures appears to have ended in 1989.
November is a rather interesting month for Honolulu. Until 1990 the temperatures appeared to be level, or even dropping. However, after 1990 temperatures appear to be rising rather rapidly.
