Asheville

Asheville is a town in the Appalachian mountains of Western North Carolina, Not far from the Smoke Mountains, the Blue Ridge Parkway loops around Asheville. Asheville is also home to the National Climate Data Center from which we get our data.

Asheville is showing the greatest warming in November and March. Even with the apparent downward trend in temperatures between 1985 and 1995, Asheville has still averaged 0.2'F rise in November high temperatures and 0.4'F rise in lows.

Asheville's downward extreme occurs in April. In April temperatures appear to be dropping at about 0.2'F per decade.
